Meet the Team

  • Leslee Quick,
    Chiropractor, Director

Dr. Leslee learned early in adolescence the important role chiropractic plays in overall health when chiropractic treatment helped not only her back pain, but also concurrent knee pain and digestive issues. She attributes those experiences to her advocacy of wellness chiropractic care for her family and patients. Dr. Leslee's two daughters have received wellness chiropractic care since birth and their strong immunity is a testament to the relationship between the spine and overall health.

Dr. Leslee received Doctorate of Chiropractic at New york Chiropractic College, serving as Class President. She has a Bachelor Degree from Bentley University and has continued her postgraduate education in the areas of prenatal, pediatrics and herbal nutrition. While Dr. Leslee loves treating patients of all ages, she specializes in working with pregnant patients and children. Dr. Leslee is a frequently guest lecturer to groups and companies and is a certified weight loss coach. She currently provides natural health news on her podcast, Quick Health Concepts (

Dr.  Leslee remains a very active volunteer within the Wilmington Community. At that time he was referred for Chiropractic care. It was through chiropractic treatment that Dr. Marc was finally able to return to full activity and athletics.

'Chiropractic care enabled me to return to a regular pain-free lifestyle and get back to doing what I love. I knew it was my calling to help others as I was helped by my Chiropractor.'

Dr. Marc attended Old Dominion University with a major in Anthropology and received his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College in 2001 where he concentrated in the treatment of sports injuries, completing his internship in Syracuse. • Sharon Pruss

Sharon is a Licensed Doctor of Acupuncture (RI), a Licensed Acupuncturist (CA, MA), and is nationally licensed by the NCCAOM. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University, and did most of her training at Yo San University.  Sharon specializes in women’s health, auto-immune disorders, digestive issues and pain. Her post-graduate training includes chronic eye disease, infertility (including male factor), nutrition, functional medicine, and facial rejuvenation. Her work as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Endocrinology/Bone Disease Program at the John Wayne Cancer Institute provided Sharon with the experience of working within the western medical model of treating cancer.

Sharon uses an integrated, truly holistic approach to treatment, with functional medicine testing and assessments at the heart of her practice strategy.  Her personal view is that environment and lifestyle play an integral role in health, and that all illness is rooted in a psycho-spiritual cause.

Sharon’s interest in holistic medicine came from an early experience in her own healing through homeopathy. After an auto accident, Sharon’s neighbor, an Acupuncturist, helped miraculously restore Sharon’s health with the strategic placement of two needles. She has been a believer ever since, and she uses acupuncture and Chinese medicine herself on a regular basis.  Her intention is to provide thoughtful, compassionate care, while empowering her patients throughout the healing process.
